About the Role:

  • Oversee and manage the operational technology team, including TechOps and SecOps, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with the client’s strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and outsourced providers, facilitating seamless communication and execution of deliverables.
  • Serve as the product owner for key technology systems, overseeing system improvements, upgrades, and implementations.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for technology operations and security operations, ensuring the highest standards of performance and security.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to align the technology strategy with the organization’s growth and operational goals.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, ensuring the client’s operations remain competitive and innovative.

A Day in the Life

Your day will blend strategic leadership and hands-on problem-solving. You’ll be instrumental in ensuring the operational technology team meets its objectives while working directly with key stakeholders to drive the business forward. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee system improvements, and implement best practices for both TechOps and SecOps.

About You

  • Has 5+ years of experience in technology roles, particularly in managing operational technology teams and outsourced providers.
  • Brings a strong background in Azure, including Intune, and has experience as a user, administrator, and product owner.
  • Possesses experience with Okta and Netskope, managing these tools in an enterprise environment.
  • Has a university degree in Information Systems, Computer Systems, Data, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
  • Holds a certification as an Azure Administrator (or equivalent).
  • Has excellent communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage stakeholders effectively and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Can travel monthly to the client in Southeast Queensland and work remotely otherwise.

Technical Expertise:

  • Microsoft Azure: Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including Intune, with hands-on experience as a user, administrator, and product owner.
  • Okta & Netskope: Strong knowledge of Okta and Netskope, with experience managing these tools in an enterprise environment.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams and external providers.
  • Healthcare Technology: Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred but not required.

  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams, both internal and outsourced, to achieve goals.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges.
  • Collaboration: Ability to collaborate across teams and with leadership to drive alignment and ensure the successful implementation of technology strategies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
